Kyler Murray injury update: Cardinals QB returns after brief absence vs. Patriots
Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has left the team’s Week 15 game with an injury. We provide updates as backup Clayton Tune replaces him in the starting lineup.

The Arizona Cardinals are leading the New England Patriots in the third quarter of a Week 15 matchup and now have to deal with a key injury. Quarterback Kyler Murray suffered an injury on a third down pass attempt, leaving the game and going into the medical tent.
Murray threw an interception on the play, but the Patriots were flagged for roughing the passer on the play. At the time of the injury, Murray had thrown for 133 yards and rushed for ten yards.
Backup QB Clayton Tune replaced him for the next three plays before the Cardinals punted. Tune had appeared in four games prior to this game but had never attempted a pass. On his first drive in place of Murray, Tune completed two passes for eight yards.
More to come.
