NFL Draft 2025: Giants hold the top pick, at least until ‘Monday Night Football’

The Giants have the edge for the first-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft for now

At the moment, the New York Giants are on the clock to start the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

But that could change later tonight.

With the Giants’ loss to the Baltimore Ravens, New York dropped to 2-12 on the season, and a half-game ahead of the Las Vegas Raiders in the race for the first-overall selection next spring. However, the Raiders have a chance to respond tonight, as they take on the Atlanta Falcons at home in the second of two Monday Night Football games to close out Week 15. That game kicks off at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time, with the game between the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings kicking off 30 minutes earlier.

Behind the Giants and the Raiders, five teams — the New England Patriots, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Carolina Panthers, the Tennessee Titans, and the Cleveland Browns — have matching 3-11 records. By virtue of the lowest strength of schedule among those five teams, at the moment New England is in position for the third-overall selection.

Beyond tonight’s game between the Raiders and the Falcons, a pivotal game in the race for the first-overall pick comes in Week 16 when the Jaguars travel west to take on the Raiders in Las Vegas.

Right now, here is the order for the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft:
