Josh Allen started himself in fantasy football vs. 49ers

Josh Allen benefitted from his passing/receiving double score by starting himself in fantasy football.

Josh Allen is having the best week ever. The superstar QB got engaged to Hollywood star Hailee Steinfeld during the week, then helped the Buffalo Bills clinch a division championship in the AFC East by beating the doors off the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football. All Allen did against the Niners was run for a touchdown, throw for a touchdown, and catch a touchdown.

Allen ended up with a TD throw and TD catch on the same play when Bills teammate Amari Cooper lateraled the ball to him in the red zone. Allen ran it in for a touchdown, creating an odd scenario where he was credited for a receiving touchdown without being credited for a catch. The broadcasting crew asked Allen about the play after the game, and as he was explaining it he revealed something else: he actually started himself in fantasy football this week.

It’s a good week to be Josh Allen, and it keeps getting better.
