In the market for a used television at a steep discount?

The Cincinnati Bengals are willing to help.

Talks are underway between the organization and Hamilton County, where Paycor Stadium is located, for a new lease, as the current deal between the two sides runs out in 2026. As part of the negotiations between the County and the team, the Bengals have committed $100 million to renovations of Paycor Stadium. Those upgrades will “involve areas that fans will experience, including updated video and audio systems, renovations to suites and club lounges, concession upgrades and beautification projects,” according to Steve Watkins of the Cincinnati Business Courier.

As those renovations have begun, the County now has an offer for you. In late May Hamilton County announced in a press release that they were selling five- to seven-year-old “gently used” televisions that were removed from Paycor Stadium, as part of the renovation process. Televisions were priced at a substantial discount using the following pricing scale:

  • 24” – 39” for $30
  • 40” – 49” for $40
  • 50” – 55” for $50
  • 56” – 85” for $60

Buyers were instructed to “bring their own loading help and a proper vehicle in which the purchases can fit.”

According to the County, 200 televisions were sold during the first round, which occurred on June 1. A second round of sales is scheduled for this weekend, on July 13. The first-come, first-served sale will take place at Paycor Stadium’s Gate D and starts at 8 a.m., lasting until noon or the televisions are sold out, whichever occurs first.

No word on whether proceeds will be used for a Tee Higgins long-term extension.
