Josh Allen is expanding his resume.
Josh Allen script ideas for new ‘Skydance Sports’ venture
Bills QB Josh Allen is headed to Hollywood. We have some ideas

The reigning NFL MVP is taking his talents to Tinseltown. Allen announced on Wednesday that he had put pen to paper on a “multiyear deal” with Skydance Sports, LLC under which the Buffalo Bills quarterback “will develop a slate of scripted, unscripted and branded content” with the company.
That got us thinking.
Here are the five screenplays we want to pitch Allen.
“13 Seconds”
Look away Bills fans.
The 2021 AFC Divisional Round game between the Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs changed the NFL, in more ways than one. The big change came in the rulebook as the league adapted their overtime rules for the playoffs after fans were left wanting more, as Allen and the rest of the Bills offense could only look on from the sidelines as the Chiefs went down the field and scored to advance to the AFC Championship Game.
Following that season, the league mandated that each team gets a possession in overtime during the playoffs.
The other way it changed the league? Quarterback evaluation. Teams watching that game saw yet more evidence that if you want to win in today’s NFL, you might want a quarterback on the level of Allen and Patrick Mahomes.
While we know how that game turned out, a contest like this deserves some Hollywood treatment. Bills fans just hope for an incredible postscript to this story.
“The Josh Allen Story”
Honestly, what makes for a better movie than Allen’s own story?
By now his recruiting story — what their is of it — is already legend. Lacking stars or D1 offers Allen enrolled at Reedley Junior College. Early in his single season at Reedley Allen put together an e-mail along with a link to his Hudl highlight reel to send to 1,000 college coaches.
Still, the offers did not come.
Eventually two schools showed interest: Eastern Michigan and Wyoming. Allen signed with Wyoming, and started putting more highlights on film, this time at the D1 level. That, coupled with a growth spurt at Reedley, put him on the radar of NFL scouts and evaluators.
Questions, however, lingered. Particularly when it come to his accuracy as a passer. Many wondered if a prospect with his dismal completion percentage and “horrifying” metrics could succeed in the NFL.
Now his is an MVP.
Sounds like a Hollywood script to us.
“Josh Allen learns to go right (on sneaks) by riding along with a NASCAR driver”
True or not, the story for Allen in the playoffs is that he only goes left on his QB sneaks. Riding along with a NASCAR driver would be a fun way to poke fun at that with Allen learning to be comfortable going right.
“Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) teaches everyday Joes how to fire a bow and arrow in a competition”
In Marvel’s “Hawkeye,” Steinfeld learns from Avengers legend Hawkeye after being a competitive archer. In this pitch, Steinfeld mentors seven everyday people who have never used a bow and arrow. Weekly competitions with the contestants trying to hit interesting targets from interesting situations (hot air balloon, moving car, on a bicycle, from a boat, etc).
“The Bills Climb the Mountain”
Ok Bills fans, this one is for you.
We can future this pitch, and save it for when Buffalo finally lifts the Lombardi Trophy.
