Howie Roseman’s weird sexual analogy for winning the Super Bowl was as awkward as it sounds

Okay Howie.

There are all sorts of analogies for achievement in sports and Eagles GM Howie Roseman definitely said one of the things you could possibly say about it. Appearing on The McShay Show, Roseman was quick to ask what the rating of the show was before gleefully launching into his analogy about how the Super Bowl is like sex.

I don’t know what I find more unsettling here: Learning more about Howie Roseman’s sexual history than I deigned to understand — or McShay giggling and saying “that’s actually great” while hearing about the sex talk.

On some level I do actually understand what Roseman is talking about here. The idea that the moment of the Super Bowl is so big that the first win is all kind of a blur, but that the second has enough familiarity that it can be more enjoyable. This kind of applies to everything though, not just sex — but Roseman went there.

Congrats on the sex, Mr. Roseman.
