The No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft is a lock, with the Tennessee Titans poised to select Cam Ward in the hopes he can be their franchise quarterback. The soon-to-be rookie already knows the game and while playing Fortnite on Tuesday night he pandered to Titans fans in the funniest way imaginable.

Ward basically said every Titans player is one of the best in the NFL at their position.
It’s amazing the Titans were the worst team in the league in 2024 despite having two of the four best running backs in the NFL. Hey, Cam Ward plays football — so he’s got to know ball. I’m not sure Tony Pollard would be in anyone’s Top 5, let alone Tyjae Spears who averaged 3.7 yards-per-carry and ran for 312 yards last year, but respect for thinking outside the box.
Stunningly, Ward also loves the weapons he’ll have in Nashville. In fact, he thinks the Titans already have two Top 4 receivers as well.
Calvin Ridley AND Treylon Burks are Top 4 receivers? Who knew?! Man, Will Levis was even more garbage that we thought when he couldn’t win with four of the best offensive players in the NFL on offense.
Some people might think that A.J. Brown is a much better receiver than Calvin Ridley, but not according to Cam Ward.
Obviously Ward is saying this all tongue-in-cheek. There’s no way he actually believes the Titans have one of the best offensive units in the NFL, but were just missing a QB — but it’s a heck of a gimmick to curry favor with Titans fans before he’s the top pick.
All there is to do now is wait and see if Ward is the right guy to take this incredible roster of talent and turn them into a winner.
