Here’s our second round mock for the 2025 NFL Draft.

But with six rounds, and 225 pick, left to go that means there is a lot of talent still available for all 32 teams to pick from. While the crowd started to thin out at Lambeau Field, all 32 NFL teams began the process of resetting their board heading into Friday, where the second and third rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft await.
The headline going into Friday? That is likely quarterback Shedeur Sanders. The Colorado passer slid out of the first round entirely, and now has a nervous night ahead of him as he awaits word on his NFL destination. Will his slide end early, or go deep into Friday?

- Yes, the Shedeur Sanders slide ends early, at least in this author’s view. While the Cleveland Browns have set themselves up to address quarterback next year with a pair of first-round picks, the value of a QB is too much to pass up at this spot. The Browns were linked to Day Two quarterbacks such as Jalen Milroe throughout this process but adding Sanders in this spot — without the added expectation of a first-round selection — is good value.
- Will Johnson’s slide ends as well. The Michigan cornerback was considered one of the top players in the entire draft class, but injury concerns pushed him out of the first round entirely. That slide should end early on Friday, and with a need at cornerback in New Orleans the Saints at No. 40 feels like a good landing spot.
- A run on edges? While many believed the first round would be dominated by pass rushers two players expected to be first-round picks (Mike Green from Marshall and Donovan Ezeiruaku from Boston College) are still waiting to hear their names called. They’ll probably be the first pass rushers drafted on Friday night, but will not be the only ones as the depth of this position group shines on Day Two.
- Some tight ends join the party as well on Friday night. The New York Jets were linked with Tyler Warren throughout the draft cycle, but LSU tight end Mason Taylor, who received some late first-round buzz, is a solid option for them at No. 42. Harold Fannin Jr. would be a fascinating addition in Los Angeles for the Chargers, and with questions about the future of Dallas Goedert in Philadelphia surfacing, Elijah Arroyo from Miami is an intriguing option for the Eagles.
