Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season will wrap up with a Monday night doubleheader and the first matchup will feature the New York Jets visiting the Miami Dolphins at 7:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The Jets seemingly had a victory over the Buccaneers in hand last Sunday, only to fall victim to a last-second field goal in a 29-27 setback. Running back Breece Hall made a modest contribution in the loss and will try to help the team finally get into the win column on Monday night.

Below, we’ll go over Hall’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 4.

Fantasy Football analysis: Jets RB Breece Hall

Hall took nine carries for just 21 yards on the ground in last week’s loss to the Bucs, also catching four of six targets for 31 yards in the process. It wasn’t a productive outing for the fourth-year tailback, but he got just enough touches to finish as a top-30 fantasy running back for the week.

After posting 107 yards against the Steelers in Week 1, the Jets starter has been stonewalled on the ground with an average of less than 3.0 yards per carry in his past two games. His 15.79% TFL rate ranks fourth among running backs with at least 30 carries this season and that frequency of getting stuffed in the backfield should raise some concern for fantasy managers. However, he’s been able to somewhat offset that with eight receptions for 78 receiving yards on the year and that ability to catch passes out of the backfield has allowed him to keep his head above water as a decent RB2 option in fantasy this season.

Start or sit in Week 4 PPR leagues?

Start. Both teams of these 0-3 teams are going to be in desperation mode and there’s an opportunity here for Miami’s aggressiveness to actually play into New York’s favor. The Dolphins lead the NFL in blitz rate at 41.1% and that has made them vulnerable to quick passes to running backs out of the backfield, yielding 15 receptions for 164 yards through three games. Hall can really eat in the passing game here and that only boosts his fantasy value for the week. Start him.
