Jacksonville Jaguars opponents 2026: Who’s on the schedule, how easy or hard will their schedule be

The Jags’ 2026 schedule looks really hard.

The Jacksonville Jaguars were the surprise team of the 2025 NFL season. The Jags lost 13 games a year ago, but somehow turned it around with 13 wins this season. Jacksonville is a legitimate threat to go to the Super Bowl, and its success sure feels sustainable moving forward.

Trevor Lawrence ended the season on an absolute tear to stamp himself as a fringe MVP candidate and finally solidify the “generational” hype he entered the league with. First-head head coach Liam Coen might be the team’s real MVP for unlocking Lawrence and getting the offense play its best ball at the right time. The Jags are a bright future, and now we know their 2026 opponents.

The Jaguars have eight home games and nine road games on the 2026 slate. The Jags are expected to host one or two home games in London at Wembley Stadium in London. Jacksonville has played a “home” game in London each year since 2013, except for 2020, as the international series has gotten its international series off the ground. Here’s the Jags opponents for next year:

Jacksonville Jaguars list of opponents

Home opponents

  • Houston Texans
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • Tennessee Titans
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Washington Commanders
  • New England Patriots

Road opponents

  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • Houston Texans
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • New York Giants
  • Tennessee Titans
  • Denver Broncos
  • Chicago Bears

Jacksonville Jaguars schedule analysis

A first place schedule is no joke. Facing division winners in the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears on the road will almost certainly be extremely tough tests, and the Texans make it a third playoff team on the road. It’s also totally possible the Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals could all bounce back next season when the Jags have to play them on the road. Home games against two more division winners in the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots make this a very difficult schedule.

The good news for the Jags is that they’re still in the AFC South. The Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans could be among the worst teams in the league next season. The games with the Texans will be tough, but Houston is more solid than spectacular in terms of their roster set up.

I’d grade this schedule as a 9 out of 10 in terms of difficulty. Good thing the Jags look like a wagon going forward.
