Seattle Seahawks schedule analysis
The strong finish means the Seahawks will face what could be one of the more difficult schedules in 2026. They will have nine home games and eight road games next season pending the announcement of the matchups for the 2026 international games. The Seahawks face their NFC West division-mates twice apiece, each of the NFC East squads, and each of the AFC West squads. Eight of their opponents (not counting the NFC West twice) reached the 2026 NFL Playoffs.
Their three TBD games ended up as the first place squads in the NFC North (Bears), NFC South (Panthers), and AFC East (Patriots). There are some teams they can expect to be better next year, with the Commanders getting Jayden Daniels back. The Chiefs are a little less certain with Patrick Mahomes rehabbing a torn ACL. It’s a good bet at least one or two of the teams they face will be more impressive than expected, but also that some will be worse than expected. If Seattle can continue with its defensive dominance next season, they should be in contention for another playoff trip.
