Why did the Shanahan news stay quiet for 11 days?
I think Mike Florio makes a good point here. For 11 days, the 49ers were able to keep the news outlets that cover them from reporting a story about their head coach being in a horrific car accident. Why didn't they report it?
I am trying to figure out why they wanted it to be kept quiet in light of the fact that no drugs or alcohol were involved, but that is a different conversation.
