Columbus Experiences Lowest Attendance In 11 Year History

The Columbus Blue Jackets are an interesting team in terms of fan support. They have a good group of diehard fans, but the overall adoption of the team has not seemed to have happened yet in 11 years. In the fans' defense, the team has only made the playoffs once in 10 years. You may be asking why would we bring this up.

↵Well, Aaron Portzline, a Blue Jackets beat reporter, has tweeted that Wednesday’s attendance of 9,802 is the lowest ever at Nationwide Arena.

↵What does this say about the Blue Jackets right now? The team needs to win and inspire some confidence in the fans. We know the fans are there a passionate group and they will get out and support the team when it does well. All you have to look at is their playoff run in 2009.
