All Marion Gaborik needed was a benching to find the back of the net again. In his first game after being benched. Marion Gaborik scored the first goal of the game and another 2:25 later. The first Gaborik goal was assisted by Sean Avery while his second goal of the game was assisted by Artem Anisimov and Sean Avery. Brian Boyle netted a powerplay goal while Ruslan Fedotenko has scored even strength Marc Staal also has two assists thus far in the game.
