Add Keith Yandle of the Phoenix Coyotes to the list of 2011 NHL All-Stars. The NHL named Yandle an injury replacement on Tuesday afternoon.
2011 NHL All-Star Game: Keith Yandle Named Injury Replacement
The National Hockey League announced today that Coyotes defenseman Keith Yandle has been selected to participate in the 2011 NHL All-Star Game on Sunday, January 30. This marks Yandle’s first career NHL All-Star appearance.
Yandle replaces Atlanta’s Tobias Enstrom, the only defenseman that will miss the game with injury, after he broke a finger on his right hand on Sunday vs. New York.
Two replacement spots are still available after Yandle’s addition and the addition of Minnesota forward Martin Havlat.
