2011 NHL All-Star Fantasy Draft: Complete Results

See the first three rounds here. The rest of the selections...

Round 4: Team Staal takes defenseman Zdeno Chara, Team Lidstrom selects defenseman Shea Weber.

The teams traded off giant defensemen in Round 4.

Round 5: Team Staal takes high-scoring forward Rick Nash, Team Lidstrom selects goaltender Tim Thomas.

It took five rounds, but Lidstrom finally matched Staal by taking a goaltender. The teams needed to select three goaltenders by Round 10, and by this point, each team only had one.

Round 6: Team Staal selects goalie Henrik Lundqvist, Team Lidstrom selects forward Danny Briere.

Just before Round 6, TSN interviewed Eric’s brother Marc Staal. Marc proceeded to lay down the guilt trip on his brother, to which Eric responded by taking, from the New York Rangers.... not Staal, but Lundqvist. Was that on purpose to rub it in, Eric?

“Yes.”

Round 7: Team Staal selects.... brother Marc Staal, Team Lidstrom selects defenseman Dustin Byfuglien.

After messing with his brother a round earlier, the family Christmas will be okay next year. Eric felt bad enough to select his brother in Round 7.

Round 8: Team Staal selects Patrick Sharp, Team Lidstrom selects Jonathan Toews.

Jonathan Toews did look a little irritated after Staal took his teammate Sharp, but that quickly went away one pick later, as Patrick Kane and Team Lidstrom took Toews.

Round 9: Team Staal selects Dan Boyle, Team Lidstrom selects Marc-Andre Fleury.

With Staal’s pick of the defenseman Boyle, and the requirement that all goalies must have been selected by Round 10, they assured that the goalies would be taken with the next three picks. Fleury’s first.

Round 10: Team Staal selects goalie Carey Price, Team Lidstrom selects Jonas Hiller.

... Price is next, and Hiller’s the last goalie selected.

Round 11: Team Staal selects Jeff Skinner, Team Lidstrom selects Brad Richards.

Jeff Skinner is the youngest All-Star ever (and boy, does he look it) and he’ll be able to enjoy the event with his teammates, Cam Ward and Eric Staal, and in front of his home fans in Raleigh. All the Hurricanes are on Team Staal. Fitting.

Meanwhile, Brad Richards joins up with former teammate and linemate Martin St. Louis on Team Lidstrom.

Round 12: Team Staal selects defensemen Kris Letang, Team Lidstrom selects defenseman Keith Yandle.

Defensemen are starting to fall off the board now, as the teams have to fill their six spots by Round 15.

Round 13: Team Staal selects Claude Giroux, Team Lidstrom selects Brent Burns

Claude Giroux and his Flyers teammate Danny Briere live together. They’ll be going head-to-head on Sunday.

Round 14: Team Staal selects Erik Karlsson, Team Lidstrom selects Martin Havlat.

Karlsson rounds out the defensemen, while late injury replacement Havlat joins Team Lidstrom.

Round 15: Team Staal selects Corey Perry, Team Lidstrom selects Anze Kopitar.

Round 16: Team Staal selects Patrik Elias, Team Lindstrom selects Matt Duchene.

Round 17: Team Staal selects David Backes, Team Lindstrom selects Loui Eriksson.

Round 18: Team Staal selects Paul Stastny, Team Lindstrom selects Phil Kessel.
