The 7-2 Dallas Stars host the 5-2 Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night at American Airlines Arena and the focus ahead of the game is on the goaltenders. It's not necessarily the matchup between the Kings' and Stars' netminders, but which goalie will take the ice for Dallas after Jonathan Quick sat on Tuesday. In all likelihood, though, Quick's absence was temporary, perhaps in an effort to get him some rest in the midst of a tough stretch of games.

Dallas comes into Thursday night's game leading the Pacific division, though Los Angeles is nipping at its heels. The Stars have a division-leading 14 points, followed by Los Angeles at 11 points. The Stars are coming off a 3-2 shootout win over the Phoenix Coyotes while the Kings are coming off a loss to the New Jersey Devils.

Here’s the information for Thursday night’s matchup.

Game Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
TV Coverage: FS-W, FS-SW
