Senators Vs. Bruins Preview: Game Time, TV Coverage And More

The Ottawa Senators will try to win their seventh straight game, as well as grab sole possession of first place in the Northeast Division, with a win against the struggling title defenders in Boston.

It's safe to say that, when the Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators looked at the schedule before the season, they would've thought this early November matchup was going to be a tale of two teams headed in opposite directions: the Bruins on their way to a title defense, and the Sens on the way to another year in the basement.

There’s still time for those storylines to play out, but as of now, we’re a full month into the season and the teams are looking very, very different.

The Sens are winners of six straight games heading into this one, and the Bruins have fallen off the map since the start of the season, with just six points on the year and a 3-7-0 record to boot. In fact, it’s so bad that the Senators could take a double-digit lead over Boston in points, as well as first place in the Northeast Division, with a win on Tuesday.

Yes, the Ottawa Senators. In first place. 10 points ahead of the defending Stanley Cup Champs.

Time & Place: 7:30 p.m. ET | TD Garden in Boston, Mass.
TV: TSN (Canada), RDS (Canada), NESN (Boston)
Radio: TEAM 1200 (Ottawa), 98.5 The Sports Hub (Boston)
