Senators Vs. Bruins Final Score: Boston Rallies To Win 5-3
The defending Stanley Cup Champions needed to get a victory after starting the season 3-7. The Bruins started the month with the worst record in the East, but against the Senators it looked more like the defending champions than the team that struggled through the first ten games of the season.
Stephane Da Costa and Nick Foligno both scored goals for the Senators in the loss and Jared Cowen tied the game early in the third period. The Bruins outplayed the Senators in the second period and Ottawa couldn't over come the back-to-back goals less than a minute apart in the third period that broke the tie open.
