Horrible Fluke Accident Takes Life Of Young Edmonton Hockey Player

Kyle Fundytus, a 16-year-old midget-level hockey player in Edmonton, died over the weekend after taking a puck to the neck in a game on Saturday afternoon. Fundtyus was rushed to the hospital after a “fluke” shot caught him in a bad spot on his neck.

↵↵“It wasn’t even that hard of a shot. It was a solid shot from the point [and it] hit him in a fluky spot, I guess,” said one witness who asked not to be identified.
