The struggling New Jersey Devils may get a nice shot in the arm on Wednesday when they play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Devils could be getting back injured goaltender Martin Brodeur, who has been out since Oct. 13 when he injured his shoulder. With Brodeur out of action, Johan Hedburg went 2-3-1 with a 2.61 goals against average. Brodeur has only played two matches and been able to finish just one this year.
Maple Leafs Vs. Devils Preview: Game Time, TV Coverage And More
The Devils are hoping to have Martin Brodeur back from injury for Wednesday’s game against the Maple Leafs.

If Brodeur plays, he'll face a Maple Leafs team that has cooled a bit since their 4-0-1 start. They are 3-3-0 and have allowed 19 goals since then. They continue to score a decent clip, though, with Phil Kessel leading the way. He has 10 goals and eight assists, while the Maple Leafs are fourth in the NHL with a 3.2 scoring average.
