The Philadelphia Flyers came out firing on Wednesday, scoring two goals in 13 seconds before chasing Buffalo Sabres goalie Ryan Miller. After two goals within the first two minutes to the game, and another just past the six-minute mark, Miller’s night was over. But the Flyers had already built their lead, and hung on over the final 40 minutes to secure a 3-2 win.

Sean Couturier, James van Riemsdyk and Scott Hartnell each scored goals in the first period to chase Miller from the game.Couturier and van Riemsdyk scored in rapid-fire succession, netting two within 13 seconds of each other.
Andrej Sekera got the Sabres on the board midway through the second period, cutting the Flyers lead to 3-1. Just over 20 minutes of game-time later, midway through the third period, Luke Adam scored the final goal of the game,
