VIDEO: Dion Phaneuf Crushes Michael Sauer, Dad Loves It

Dion Phaneuf laid down one of his patented open-ice hits on Monday night against the New York Rangers, with the unfortunate Michael Sauer finding himself on the receiving end of things.

The best part of the hit video might not be the actual on-ice thing, though. It might be the reaction of Phaneuf’s dad.

Oh, right. I thought we were eliminating hitting from the game?
