Fans in the United States aren’t used to hockey coverage like we’ll see today on NBC’s “Hockey Day In America.”

There will be six games televised today in total. All times Eastern.
12:30 p.m. - regional games, NBC
3:30 p.m. - national game, NBC
Pittsburgh vs. Chicago
6:00 p.m. - Heritage Classic, Versus
Montreal vs. Calgary outdoors at McMahon Stadium.
It’s a unique day of hockey in the U.S., for sure, and the best part about it? Every single game has playoff implications. We have NBC’s coverage map, a full schedule and the broadcasters for each game after the jump.
the506 has NBC’s regional broadcast map today. In a nutshell, the Midwest and the Rockies will get the Detroit vs. Minnesota game while the two coasts get Philadelphia vs. New York. The only exception is the local markets in Buffalo and Washington, which will obviously receive the Sabres and Capitals.

Philadelphia vs. NY Rangers: Ken Daniels, Joe Micheletti
Detroit vs. Minnesota: Pat Foley, Darren Pang
Washington vs. Buffalo: Jim Jackson, Ray Ferraro
The entire United States will pick up the 3 p.m. broadcast from Chicago between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Blackhawks. Mike Emrick, Eddie Olczyk and Pierre Mcguire will have the call on NBC.
At 6 p.m., the Heritage Classic will air on Versus in the United States. Dave Strader, Andy Brickley and Brian Engblom will have the call. In Canada, the Heritage Classic will air nationally on CBC. Jim Hughson, Craig Simpson, Glenn Healy and Scott Oake will have the call there.
