It is a fitting way for Todd Bertuzzi to end his 1,000th career game than with a shootout goal over the Minnesota Wild on Sunday afternoon. In what has been a defensive struggle and a goaltender battle at times, the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Minnesota Wild 2-1 in a shootout. Pavel Datsyuk gets the official game winning goal as the first scorer in a 2-0 shootout, but Bertuzzi sealed the game with his second shootout goal.
