Justin Williams is staying in Los Angeles. The right winger signed a four-year contract extension worth $14.6 million on Monday morning. He was set to hit unrestricted free agency at the end of the year.

If he stays healthy, this is a very good deal for Kings GM Dean Lombardi, as they get a guy with 20 to 30-goal potential, along with a total-points upside of 70 or so points. It’s always a gamble with an oft-injured guy, but hey, that’s what long-term injured reserve cap relief is for, right?
