The Pittsburgh Penguins are without another of their key players, as Evgeni Malkin will miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL and MCL.
Evgeni Malkin To Undergo Knee Surgery; Will Rehab For Six Months
The Pittsburgh Penguins announced today that Evgeni Malkin will need six months of rehab after he goes under the knife on Thursday. The star forward will have surgery to repair the torn MCL and the torn ACL in his right knee.
The official announcement from the team says that he’ll be ready for training camp next season.
