Sean Bergenheim got the scoring started for the Lightning six minutes into the first with a goal that flipped over Ryan Miller’s shoulder. Vincent Lecavalier and Brett Clark each got an assist on the goal. Drew Stafford scored much later in the period with an assist from Jordon Leopold.

The goaltenders are making the saves they need to keep this game as close as it is at this point. Both goaltenders are going to need to continue to play as well to keep their team in the game.
