Patrick Kaleta Displays Absurd Nickname-To-Real-Word Ratio

Patrick Kaleta was the star for the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night, as his goal in the third period of Game 1 against the Philadelphia Flyers proved to be the only goal of the game, and thus, the reason the Sabres hold a 1-0 series lead over the favored Flyers.

Following the game, he showed off another skill: an incredible ability to refer to at least four of his teammates by nickname in just a few short sentences.

Via Broad Street Hockey, SB Nation’s Philadelphia Flyers blog:

”I just went to the net. It started off with a good play by Gerbs down low being hard on the puck and then Goose with a great pass to Grag and Grags with a good shot and I just went to the net and finished my rebound. [...] I mean, that’s what I said, we have to give a big credit to our team defense as a whole and Millsy.

No word just yet on if Paul Gaustad will transition into life as a Naval aviator in his life after hockey. /haha Top Gun jokes
