Guy Boucher had to love the opening minutes play he saw from his Tampa Bay Lightning. Hard, tenacious forecheck, tons of chances on Michal Neuvirth and the Washington Capitals, even a goal just 2:12 in from Sean Bergenheim, who's been great all playoffs for the Bolts.

But then, that tenacity slowly began to come to a halt. It started when Alex Semin tied the game just two minutes after the Bergenheim goal on a weird little dribbler of a shot from out around the blue line. The bouncy puck gave Dwayne Roloson some trouble and it squeaked through him and into the back of the net.
The Caps turned up the intensity as the rest of the first period played out, and less than two minutes into the second period, Eric Fehr beat Roloson to give the home team the lead.
Tampa Bay is playing without forward Simon Gagne, who left the game after being hit by Scott Hannan and smacking his head on the ice. They're down to 10 forwards after they decided to dress seven defensemen in the game.
