The NHL Playoffs Vs. The NBA: Who Should Be More Embarrassed Here?

↵If you’ve been following the NHL Playoffs, you might be asking: “Why are the Lightning and Capitals playing on back-to-back nights with Wednesday’s Game 4?”

↵The answer: Because the Lightning got bounced by University of South Florida’s graduation ceremony. And... Yeah, that’s just about the most NHL explanation ever. (“USF takes precedent!”) But it begs another question. Which is worse: That Gary Bettman and the NHL can’t get their act together to space out playoff games, or that over in the NBA, the Celtics and Heat have a full four f’ing days between Game 2 and Game 3? That might be even more shameless than hockey.
