Winnipeg NHL Fans Have New SB Nation Blog To Follow

The new Winnipeg NHL team still doesn’t have a name, but that’s not stopping us from starting our new blog covering the team just as the offseason begins.

We announced last month that our advanced stats blog, Behind The Net Hockey, would be making a format change to cover the new Winnipeg team. On Monday, that change officially got underway. Behind The Net has a name change, a new logo and a slightly altered coat of paint, and you can find the changes over at Arctic Ice Hockey.

All the old BTN articles that you’ve come to know and love are still available in the archives over there, and Gabe & Co. will still be prying in to statistical analysis of the NHL. But the site will mostly have an all-Winnipeg focus from here on out, and it’s with great excitement that we have Gabe, Ben and the rest of the gang heading our coverage of hockey in the ‘Peg.

More SB Nation Hockey site news after the jump.

We've also made a change at our Bruins blog, Stanley Cup of Chowder. Our blogger, who has simply gone by the name "Stanley Cup of Chowder" throughout his time blogging, has decided to go out on top with his team.

Replacing him will be Ryan Durling, who has written here at SBNation.com throughout the postseason and has also covered the Bruins at SB Nation Boston. Replacing Ryan at our Boston hub will be Gethin Coolbaugh, who has the coolest name in the history of blogging.
