Swedish Hockey standings 2012: HV71 leads SEL, Öreboro HK atop Hockey Allsvenskan

An update of the standings in Sweden.

HV71 currently holds sole possession of first place in the Swedish Elite League, having registered 22 points in ten games played. However, second place currently consists of a four-way tie with Skellefteå AIK, Lulea HF, Brynäs IF and MODO Hockey as each team has 19 points. Skellefteå is currently listed in second as they have the most regulation wins of the four teams, followed by Lulea, Brynäs and MODO.

In Sweden’s other professional league, Hockey Allsvenskan, Öreboro HK is in first place having registered 17 points in seven games played. They are followed by IF Troja-Ljungby and IK Oskarshamn who are tied for second place with 15 points.

Colorado Avalanche Gabriel Landeskog and his club Djurgårdens IF currently sit in seventh place with 10 points. Landeskog has registered six points (four goals, two assists) in four games played. Los Angeles Kings forward Anze Kopitar and his club Mora IK are tied with Landeskog's club with 10 points. Kopitar has registered 10 points (four goals, six assists) in nine games.
