With the NHL and NHLPA still attempting to find traction in their fourth consecutive day of labor negotiations, the American Hockey League is in full force with 13 games scheduled for Friday night.
2012 AHL schedule: 13 games on tap for Friday night
While the NHL and NHLPA continue collective bargaining negotiations, the American Hockey League will be in full force on Friday night with 13 games on tap.

The Oklahoma City Barons have been beneficiaries of the lockout, as the club has been inundated with talent from the Edmonton Oilers, which includes Jordan Eberle, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Taylor Hall and Justin Schultz. In fact, Eberle, Nugent-Hopkins and Schultz are the top-three scorers on the team (Schultz is the leading scorer heading into Friday night, registering 15 points in 10 games).
Despite this newly acquired star-power, the Barons sit in eighth place in the Western Conference. On Friday night, they will look to improve that standing against the third place Abbotsford Heat.
In addition, there six divisional games taking place on Friday which will include: the Rockford IceHogs facing off against the Grand Rapids Griffins; the Connecticut Whale challenging the Springfield Falcons; the Hershey Bears taking on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins; the Portland Pirates facing off against the Worcester Sharks; and the Chicago Wolves meeting the Milwaukee Admirals.
