It didn't take long for the first questionable hit of the 2012 NHL playoffs to rear its head. At the 8:50 mark of the first period of Game 1 between the Nashville Predators and Detroit Red Wings, Gabriel Bourque met Ian White behind the Detroit net. The results were not pretty.

White was fine and even seemed to laugh the play off a bit after getting to his feet, but Bourque was given a two-minute minor penalty for boarding.
