Senators Vs. Rangers, Game 4: Kyle Turris Scores OT Winner For Senators

Two minutes and 42 seconds into overtime, Ottawa Senators forward Kyle Turris snapped a shot from the left faceoff circle that beat a partially screened New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist to the glove side, giving the Senators a come-from-behind 3-2 win in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series. Action will shift back to New York on Saturday night with the two teams tied at two games apiece.

After falling behind 2-0 in the first seven minutes of the game, the Senators battled back, finally solving Lundqvist when Milan Michalek beat the All-Star goalie with a backhand shot on a 2-on-1 break at the tail end of a New York power play. Ten minutes later, Senators defenseman Sergei Gonchar's point shot squeezed through Lundqvist's left arm and trickled into the net to the tie the score at 2-2 after 40 minutes.

Gonchar assisted on Turris' game-winner and was the only multi-point scorer for the Senators on Wednesday night. Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson's six shots in 26:55 of ice time were team highs.

Rangers forward Anton Stralman opened the scoring just 49 seconds into the first period when he beat Senators goalie Craig Anderson with a wrist shot on the power play. Rangers captain Ryan Callahan scored a power-play goal a few minutes later to take a 2-0 lead into the first intermission. Marian Gaborik and Brad Richards assisted on the two goals.

The Rangers outshot the Senators 33-31, including 3-1 in overtime.
