After one period, Game 4 of the Blackhawks vs. Coyotes series remains a scoreless affair. Early on, however, Chicago’s Paul Bissonnette was ejected for an equipment violation. From NBC-5’s Peggy Kusinski:

A player is required to wear a “fighting strap” underneath his jersey, which ties it down so that it can’t be torn off during a fight. Failing to having it properly secured is an ejectable offense, as Bissonnette found Thursday night. Here’s video of the fight, via Jimmy Traina:
In the scoreless tie, the Blackhawks lead thus far in shots taken, 11 to 5, and in takeaways, 2-0.
