We'll preface this by saying Farmers Only has been running ads for years, it seems. In fact, the ad that ran during Sunday's NHL playoff matchup between the Canucks and Kings has been on Youtube since 2007, a lifetime in Internet years. But that doesn't mean seeing it pop onto television was any less jarring.

So here’s what happened: During a break following the second period, the spot ran a whole lot of places. I saw it, in Washington, and others who work here saw it across the country. It would seem to have been a national ad.
And what is it? An ad for a dating website that services -- you guessed it -- farmers. It’s like any other singles site, except for people that bail hay and stuff.
Yeah, this whole thing is just awkward.
However, time to crowdsource! What are the next niche dating sites that should have commercials? Bloggers Only? Auto Mechanics Only? Zookeepers Only? Give us your best.
