Bruins Vs. Capitals Game 7 Score, NHL Playoffs 2012: Tyler Seguin Ties It, 1-1

Tyler Seguin is pretty good at this hockey thing. The Boston Bruins' second-year star beat three members of the Washington Capitals to a loose puck in the crease and poked it behind goaltender Braden Holtby to pull the score of Game 7 even, 1-1.

It’s hard to argue that this goal was bigger than Seguin’s overtime winner in Game 6, but it just might be depending on how the rest of Game 7 turns out. For the Caps, though, this is a play that just can’t happen. Holtby controlled his rebound rather well on the initial shot -- it got away from him, but he at least directed it away from most traffic -- but the Bruins were able to corral it and put it back on net.

Holtby couldn’t get all of the ensuing shot, and it trickled just behind him. With three defensemen right around the crease, it seemed like Holtby’s back would be covered, but Seguin was able to find the puck and knock it home. It was dirty as it gets, but if you’re wearing black and gold glasses, it was truly a thing of beauty.
