Dale Hunter's tenure as the head coach of the Washington Capitals was a bit of a mixed bag with plenty of highs and lows. Ultimately, he didn't feel like sticking around as the Caps' coach, and the team didn't make an effort to stop him from walking away for "family reasons." Those family reasons might have been to re-join his brother and father in London, Ontario. He's returning to the London Knights, the OHL team he coached before coming to the Capitals.
Dale Hunter To Rejoin London Knights As Head Coach

Hunter has had an ownership stake in the team since 2000, along with his brother Mark, who is the team’s general manager, and was the head coach briefly in Dale Hunter’s absence. Their father is also a scout for the Knights.
