On Sunday afternoon, the San Jose Sharks came to terms on a four-year contract with Adam Burish that will pay the gritty winger $1.8 million per year. Burish played the last two seasons with the Dallas Stars, who he signed a two-year, $1.15 contract with in 2010.

The San Jose Sharks have come to terms on a deal with Adam Burish.


San Jose will be Burish's third stop in the NHL after spending four years in Chicago with the Blackhawks prior to going to Dallas. The 29-year-old forward was a member of the Blackhawks team that won the Stanley Cup over the Philadelphia Flyers in 2010.
Burish gets 4 years from San Jose at approximately 1.8 per year.

Selected with the No. 282 overal selection in 2002 by Chicago, Burish has registered 25 goals and 29 assists for a total of 54 points over 297 career games.
The captain of the 2005-06 national championship-winning Wisconsin Badgers, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound forward is known for his physical play at the NHL level.
