Scott Gomez Wins His Own Grand Prize In Charity Golf Tournament

Montreal Canadiens center Scott Gomez hosted a charity golf tournament in Anchorage, Alaska on Thursday. The top prize was a $50,000 SUV. Gomez participated in his own charity event, of course. I’m sure you all know what’s coming. Remember when Mr. Burns won that 1997 Pontiac Astro Wagon? Yeah, this was worse.

Brian Stubits of CBS Sports reports that Gomez sank a hole-in-one to claim the SUV. He didn’t give it away or anything. He was just shocked and elated that he won his own car. I guess we all would be.

I just hope that Gomez drove the SUV away to the thunderous boos of the crowd.

And heeeere come the pretzels.
