Nik Antropov injury: Jets forward could miss start of season
Winnipeg Jets forward Nik Antropov might be unavailable for the start of the 2013 season.

As of Monday afternoon, Antropov's status for Saturday's regular season opener against the Ottawa Senators is in doubt. Antropov was able to participate in an informal skate on Saturday but was not involved in organized team work on Sunday.
Noel stated that the 32-year-old forward is listed as day-to-day and will be re-evaluated during the week.
During the lockout, Antropov played with Astana Barys of Russia’s Kontinental Hockey League. Over the course of 26 games, Antropov registered three goals and 13 assists for a total of 16 points.
Antropov played in 69 games during the 2011-12 season with the Jets. Over that span, he recorded 15 goals and 20 assists for a total of 35 points. He missed time last season due to injuries to his hand (two games), foot (two games), as well as five games to a lower-body injury and four games for an undisclosed injury.
