The San Jose Sharks are interested in unrestricted free agent forward Scott Gomez, according to multiple reports.
NHL free agency: Scott Gomez reportedly to meet with Sharks
Scott Gomez will reportedly be meeting with the San Jose Sharks this weekend.

ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun tweeted on Saturday morning that Gomez was expected to meet with the team this weekend and cited a connection with assistant coach Larry Robinson, which dates back to their team together with the Devils.
Gomez was formally extended a compliance buyout by the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday afternoon. He will be paid his full salary for 2013 by the Canadiens and will count against the team's salary cap this season. Next season, the team will be freed of his cap-hit.
The 33-year-old forward is now free to sign with any team of his choosing.
As of Friday afternoon, it was believed that the Anaheim Ducks, Carolina Hurricanes and New Jersey Devils had varying degrees of interest in Gomez. As of Saturday, it is believed that those teams are no longer interested.
If Gomez does sign with a new team, he will be paid by both the Canadiens and his new club.
