Ryan Callahan injury: Rangers captain out at least 10 days with hurt shoulder
New York Rangers captain Ryan Callahan is projected to miss 10-14 days due to a shoulder injury suffered on Tuesday night.

Callahan underwent an MRI on Wednesday morning in order to determine the extent of the damage to the area.
The injury was sustained during Tuesday night's 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers when Callahan attempted to engage in a fight with Philadelphia forward Maxime Talbot after a scrum in front of the New York net. Callahan pulled Talbot from a pile-up and Talbot appeared to take exception to the manor in which Callahan did so.
After both players dropped their gloves, Callahan appeared to fall awkwardly. Talbot immediately backed off and motioned for the trainers, while the on-ice officials hurried to the fallen Ranger. Callahan appeared to favor his left side when making his way to the New York locker room.
He did not return to the game.
If the projection for Callahan’s return is accurate, he could potentially miss in the range of six games.
