The past two games for the New York Rangers have been a complete dumpster fire.
Henrik Lundqvist gets caught out of position, bad things happen
The New York Rangers are getting blown out again and absolutely nothing is going right. Not even for Henrik Lundqvist.
After losing 9-2 to the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday, they opened the first period on Thursday night in Anaheim by getting outshot 17-3 that helped put them in a 3-0 hole.
Then, less than two minutes into the second period, this happened to Henrik Lundqvist.
And that is the first week of the Rangers’ season in a nutshell.
That goal, by the way, went to Jakob Silfverberg and it was his second of the game. He was the key piece that went to Anaheim in the Bobby Ryan trade, and he already has four goals for in four games for the Ducks.
