Adam Hall’s penalty shot did not go as planned

Adam Hall had some issues with his penalty shot on Friday night.

USA TODAY Sports

Philadelphia Flyers forward Adam Hall earned a penalty shot midway through the first period of Friday's game after he was hauled down on a breakaway.

The ensuing shot did not go entirely as planned for Hall, who is now 0-for-3 in his career on penalty shots.

Actually, what's incredible about that shot is that even though Hall completely whiffed on his attempt it still almost snuck in under the pads of Coyotes goaltender Thomas Greiss.
