Predators vs. Islanders: Seth Jones scores first NHL goal

MacKinnon who?

You might have heard that Colorado Avalanche rookie Nathan MacKinnon, the first overall pick in the 2013 NHL Draft, scored his first career goal on Saturday.

Not to be outdone, Nashville Predators rookie Seth Jones just tallied his first goal as a NHL pro. The fourth overall pick showed the Avalanche what they passed up on with a wicked slap shot on the power play against the New York Islanders.

That tally gave the Predators the lead, but the Islanders stormed back with two quick goals before Patric Hornqvist tied it up at 2-2 before the second period ended.
