Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY SportEarlier on Tuesday a report surfaced from David Todd of 970 ESPN that Neal was injured during a wiffle ball game the Penguins were playing on ice before the start of the season.
The Penguins announced last Friday that Neal was out indefinitely due to an undisclosed upper-body injury, which would be evaluated on a week-to-week basis. Todd tweeted that the injury is similar to a strained oblique and was sustained while the team was playing wiffle ball on ice last week.
