Victor Hedman scores off crazy bounce

Victor Hedman used a game of pinball to score his second goal of the season.

David Manning-USA TODAY Sports

We've seen some pretty wild goals in the NHL this season and Victor Hedman of the Tampa Bay Lightning gave us another one on Friday night.

Midway through the second period of Tampa Bay's game with Carolina, Hedman one-timed a slap shot off the boards behind the Carolina net, which then started a crazy game of pinball off of Hurricanes goalie Justin Peters.

Yeah, that's probably the way Tampa Bay drew it up on the board. What's really crazy is that earlier in the period Peters stopped Steven Stamkos on a breakaway and then allowed that to happen. That's called puck luck, and on this play, Justin Peters and the Hurricanes did not have it.
